Running: Should I start????

So my friend from Chicago is a talented young girl who LOVES to run. She even has her own blog which she talks about mainly running and other things. She inspired me so I think maybe possibly I'll start walking/jogging/running in the mornings or nights. It would keep me in shape (hopefully) and I could take my dogs with me as their nightime walk. I get tired very easily but I'm sure I could survive long enough to burn a couple calories. Over the summer I played softball, so I lost alot of weight. I also play soccer once a week and I played volleyball earlier in the fall. Hopefully by spring I'll be able to fit into a size smaller. I think will be my goal: to drop a clothing size once or twice a year. :) I have always dreamed of being super skinny like almost all of my friends but never suceeded. My closet is so jam packed right now. A couple of weeks ago I had washed all my laundry and put it all away so that way there wasn't ANY of my dirty clothes. I had so much stuff I had to go hunt for hangers in my moms room! It was crazy. So anyway, back to running. My weekly goal is to run at least one mile a week. Or even each day, if I have time! Pray for me! I hope this all works out!!!

    I think it's great that you want to get fit - me and two other friends want to join basketball this year.

    But please make sure you don't overdo it! Remember that God looks at the heart, not the appearance. He wants us to look after our bodies, but He also wants us to be noticed for the good things we do, not by the way we look.

    Many of my friends call themselves fat on a day-to-day basis and it breaks my heart to see the kinds of things they do to themselves to stay skinny! :(
